New Human Nihil-Album "Mindkiller"

The new Human Nihil-Album "Mindkiller" was just released as a 2CD-Set into a strictly limited Edition. You may pre-order it from one of these two places as a physical release:

This album is the first time in 8 years that I go back to how the future of MDMA may have sounded like. Most, if not all of the songs on "Mindkiller", had their origin in 2008, when I produced the MDMA-Album "Thought: Weapon of Choice" as Midi-Files. Actually the song "Seventh Nature" did already reach it's final stage that year and was uploaded to the official MDMA-MySpace Page back then, before I decided to turn the project into a guitar-driven mess just for a change.

Also the original version of "T-Virus" is included on CD#02, along with many tracks that may have become what a 2008 release of my side-project Tento11 would have been like, highly influenced by Meat Beat Manifesto. I think the track "Hello Jack!" is speaking for itself therefore. Also the track "UK Decay" was already released in it's edited form in 2008 as an introduction-jingle for the frontpage of www.mdmamusic.com. Now released in it's best possible quality and in it's full range; an almost 9 minute long club-version. As Bryan Ferry would say: "Don't stop the dance!". Thanks for your support! -E-

There was quite a hiatus again ...

Much  to my surprise, because alot happened... For example the Album / EP "Appendage" was released last summer. I just got an Email today, informing me that two songs off it were re-released into physical form on the compilation "Minimal Baby VIII" on Skullline Records. You can order and take a look at it RIGHT HERE.

Click HERE to enjoy the full work. The idea behind it was to experiment with new, complete abstract sounds. The entire Album was produced with Dave Smith Instruments pure analogue synths. The Drum Machine is a Korg Volca Beats. I think it's funny how the newest gear these days sounds exactly like Depeche Mode's Debut-Album from 1981 ...

Anyways, there also were alot of compilation-appearances again. I can't remember them all, but the last one was a Leather Strip-Tribute which was released by the Band himself. THIS ONE.

There were even more covers for Tribute-Compilations, but some were declined, like my Hubert Kah-Cover of "Welcome, Machine Gun!". It turned out that they only wanted to release his german songs on it, especially the more famous ones, so money rules the world once again and it's a big shame and a pity because there were only like 12 songs on this compilation and I know alot bands were turned down who did great covers... Mine will now take part of the new Human Nihil-Album "Defenders of the Fake" which is a pun of the Judas Priest-Album "Defenders of the Faith" from 1984. I think it's cool! Some songs have already been recorded for this and other albums (Another Club Nihil-Record?)... Also be prepared for my new jam-band "The Honeymoon Slashers" - Pure nostalgic magick... Mixing and recordings will start this week with brand new equipment again!

there's so much fun here...

Yes, there actually was a little breakdown again ...

Being an independent music-artist (no, still not using the term "musician") is so much fun! You can do things ordinary commercial bands can't. Just like announcing the release of an new album 2 months after sells started. The title of this record stayed like planned "Culturecide". It's a collection of whimsical demo-songs because there just wasn't any energy left to work them further out for this version. Some of the songs are updated versions of previous ones, for example "The Hunter" is a re-recording of "Sound is a weapon" and so on ... The first 50 copies came into a pink clamshell with a sticker of the tracklist on the back. These are "sold out", or at least not available for sell from here anymore ... further editions come into the same shape, only with transparent clamshell. These are still available for order, at Discogs.com, for example. Also places like Bandcamp are up again & ready for sellout madness.... (Make sure checking out the "Merchandise"-Section there, T-Shirts anyone ?) - Special thanks to Brad Crothers for his musicial and graphical effort on this record ! -E-

First Wave of MDMA Re-Releases!

Because of some EBM-compilation-appearances this year, it happened that some people requested some older material, and due to several circumstances it seemed to me that these albums were long time out of stock now. I re-mastered 3 of the most important albums of the later MDMA and also included some bonustracks to them. There are still plenty of albums that I plan to re-release online at the right time, and due to my current situation it seems to take the first priority right now, rather than recording new material  ...

However, you can take a look over at www.mdmamusic.com , which was just updated with some news-info for the first time in almost 5 years (!) or get the download-links from here;

It's been a while ...

...since may 2012 and the release of "Melancholia".

Let's face it: This site wasn't updated in a while and did miss some major news like several full length-releases, musicvideos and also several compilation contributions. I really don't want to talk the reasons for all this here but believe me when I say they do exist ....

I did solve the last one by working out a complete new release-timeline, which is still under construction but does already include all official Human Nihil-Releases.

Check this out: http://www.club-nihil.com/timeline.html

Prime motivation for this section was the release of the COIL-Tribute 3CD-set "Sacredly Silver & Equally Gold" I was working on since midwinter 2011, which was just released this month by the label "elseproduct" located in Colorado, America. I'm very pleased with the result and deeply thank Justin for the time, afford and trust he did put into this project! I for my part did compile, mix and master all 3 CDs. I was assisted  by Grant Ragnaert for this project, who also worked with me on one song for this tribute: "My Crawling Spirit" which I did dedicate to Jhon Balance. There's a second Human Nihil-contribution on this tribute I did dedicate to the loving memory of Peter Christopherson: "The Unhealthy Soil". This song was original recorded on the 27th of Feburary 2011 and entitled "Peter Christopherson's Birthdayparty". I later changed the title when Michael G. Stone did send me his lyrics for this song I did mishear.

There are contributions by Mark Godwin, Gerechtigkeits Liga, Electric Sewer Age and many other highly talented artists on this release. Lots of stories, new projects and new friends did happen during the process of the production, which actually started out as a Witch House-Compilation, but thanks to the douchebagness at Witch House.com this did turn into something special, something memorable and something that will survive the test of time (in harsh contrast to the very boring compilation that was released instead online in Douchebag-Land by some Hipster-Clan that tries to invent the wheel anew with triangles. Yeah that's right, EAT MY FREAKIN' DUST WH.com!!!)

Please take a moment at 'elseproducts'-homepage before you place your order at http://www.elseproduct.com/catalog.html

The price INCLUDING shipping is only $30 outside the U.S. , even cheaper for american fellers. If you are one of the artists who contributed to this release please contact Justin for special offers!

I think this was enough for now. I'm really looking forward to update this page more regular again. I look even more forward to produce new music ...

"It just is..."

There is a new release...

That album was original intended to be released as an album of the band "Sour And Witness" (SAW) which did only exist into the year 2003 and released only one album entitled "A Cold & Dark Reality". This Album ("Melancholia") used to be the successsor of their debut, but it did never happen due a major depression of the singer. We tried to save and re-create as much material as possible from the original work and stick it together with new material created during the past 9 years.

released 14 May 2012

Free "Bewitched EP"

This winter is the winter of the Nihilists!

Ex ante the forthcoming Human Nihil-Album "Temples Ov Nothing" the beforehand-EP "Bewitched" was released on this christmas, as a reminder of the birthday of one spcecial person.

The Album is already finished and specimen copies have been sent to the involved bandmembers on this record. Further news about it are coming along very likely very soon after this slightly belated "monthly" newsletter.

Feel free to download and spread this even over the borders of the Witch House-scene all for free:
